The Workshops: Nuke compositing course with VFX Supervisor Hugo Guerra

The workshops included are:

D-Love Clean-up Workshop: In this workshop, we tackle a challenging cleanup. It includes techniques for removing rods, making clean plates, tracking patches and doing rotoscoping. We use Nuke and Silhouette in this workshop. This workshop has nine classes, and it’s complete and ready to watch.

Gural CG Compositing workshop: In this workshop, we composite a production shot from a cinematic I directed called 'Heroes Arena '. We cover AOVs, 3D systems, glows, lenses, DOF, Motion blur, and so much more. We also cover the final production script. This workshop has nine classes, and it’s complete and ready to watch. (This workshop is a full edit of a previous live stream.)

GOK Production Compositing Workshop: In this workshop, we composite a production shot from the BBC God Only Knows film, which I VFX-supervised at the Mill. We cover Keying, IBK, 3D tracking, 3D system, despill, screen correction, grading, and so much more. We also cover the final production script. This workshop has 15 classes, and 9 of them are ready to watch. (This workshop is a full edit of a previous live stream.)

Racetrack DEEP workshop: In this workshop, we composite a full CG shot using DEEP. We cover most DEEP nodes, including how to composite regular AOVs with DEEP and merge cards in the 3D system using the DEEP information. This workshop will have at least nine classes. Five classes are already available to watch. The final classes will be finished by end of 2026. (Final date TBC)

Pint CG workshop: In this Workshop, we composite a CG car and a falling CG body into a live-action plate. We cover planning, compositing, rotoscoping, cleanup, 3D projections, CG matching, moving, camera tracking, DOP, Motion blur, lens matching, lens artefacts, colour correction, matching CG to the plate, ACES pipelines, DEEP and much more. This workshop will have at least five classes. 5 classes are already available to watch. The final classes will be available by end of 2026. (Final date TBC)

Nuke CG Compositing Workshop View Conference 2022: This Workshop was recorded live at the View Conference in Turin, Italy, back in 2022. It is 3 hours and 27 minutes long, and it's split into 8 parts for a better viewing experience. In this workshop, I cover several topics like CG compositing, AOVs, Deep, Lens distortion, studio hardware setups, and much more. All footage used in the Workshop is production assets from real projects I've worked on. It also includes several Q&A questions from the audience, with ever more topics being covered. This workshop is complete and ready to watch.

Hybrid compositing workflows with Nuke, Machine Learning and Beeble AI (deep dive): In this masterclass, I will showcase some of my experiments with hybrid pipelines for compositing. I use Nuke’s new 3D system, CopyCat, and Beeble AI to make changes to a shot without having to re-render the CG. Keep in mind, in this session, I don't finish a VFX shot; that is not the purpose of this session. The purpose is to test new pipelines. This is a session of experimentation and testing of potential new pipelines using Beeble AI and Nuke's new 3D system. This is a 4-hour and 30-minute session with 8 classes. This workshop is complete and ready to watch.
